Our Classes: What We Offer
Teens and Adults Classes
Our teens and adults program (13+) is designed to offer a rigorous workout, high quality judo instruction and a community of friends that feel more like family. First time judoka will learn how to roll, fall and throw safely, while building a solid foundation necessary to do judo effectively. Many of our teens and adults compete on a regular basis, while some just do judo recreationally - either way, we welcome those who want to learn judo for recreation purposes and those who want to compete.

Mile High Judo embodies a culture of community above all else, where everyone is welcome to join and learn judo in a safe environment as well as make new long lasting friendships.

Kids Classes
Designed for kids ages 7 through 12 (we will consider younger on a case by case basis) our kids program is a taught in a safe environment where our first lessons are how to fall, roll, and do judo safely. Kids will learn basic throws and ground work. As they continue to learn, they will earn stripes on their belt to show progress.

Classes begin with warm ups, drills, throw and grappling practice followed by games designed to improve their judo techniques.

We emphasize character building before everything else. Before each promotion, kids will be required to complete a character assignment that demonstrates their understanding of certain character traits.
